When you come to a yoga session with Michelle, you can expect a warm, welcoming space where there’s no pressure to be anyone but yourself. Whether it’s your first time exploring yoga or you’ve been on this path for a while, you’ll be met with compassion, curiosity, and care.
Sessions are gently guided, with room for you to speak, move, rest or reflect — whatever feels right for you. There’s no rush, no judgement — just space to breathe, release, and reconnect.
Restorative yoga is a gentle, nourishing practice that invites deep rest and relaxation. You don’t need to be flexible or experienced — this is a space to slow down, soften, and let go.
Each class includes a small number of supported poses, often held for several minutes with the help of props like bolsters, blankets, or blocks. You’ll be guided into stillness, with time to simply be, breathe, and rest.
Expect a calm, quiet atmosphere, soft lighting, and a welcoming space where you can truly unwind — body, mind, and nervous system. Many people leave class feeling more grounded, clear, and at ease.
Kids yoga is playful, creative and full of movement — but also woven with moments of stillness, breath and rest. Each class is shaped by the age and energy of the group, with a mix of games, stories, poses, and relaxation.
Children are encouraged to explore at their own pace, build confidence, and enjoy being in their bodies without pressure or competition. Breathing exercises, guided visualisations and simple mindfulness techniques help them connect to how they’re feeling — and learn tools they can use in everyday life.
The atmosphere is safe, supportive, and full of kindness. Above all, it’s a space where children can feel free to express themselves, move their bodies, and enjoy some time just being kids.
Yoga for younger children is playful and imaginative. Classes often include storytelling, music, animal poses, and games that help little ones move their bodies and express themselves freely.
Breathwork and mindfulness are introduced in a gentle way — through simple visuals that help children notice how they feel. Each class ends with a relaxation, where children are guided to lie down with a blanket, listen to a song, a story, or a yoga nidra, simply relaxing and resting after their fun filled class. Some kids arrive tired and that's ok too, class can be adapted.
These sessions are warm, kind, and full of fun — creating a sense of safety, connection, and confidence.
Children should wear comfy clothes they can move in and bring a water bottle.
Mats and props are usually provided, but they’re welcome to bring their own if they prefer.
For ages 3–7, parents or guardians are usually asked to stay nearby or in the building (depending on the venue).
For older children, drop-off is generally fine — we’ll let you know what’s best for your child’s group.
If your child has any additional needs, just let Michelle know in advance so she can best support them.

Michelle is a qualified yoga teacher with a deep passion for creating space for rest, healing, and reconnection.
Michelle brings a calm, grounded presence to everything she does. With gentle sensitivity and a deeply empathetic approach, she meets each person with genuine kindness, care, and curiosity.
She believes in the simple yet powerful act of truly listening — creating space where people feel seen, heard, and supported without judgment.
At the heart of her work is the belief that everyone — adults and children alike — deserves a reprieve from the constant demands of daily life. In a world that often asks too much, Michelle offers a space to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with yourself.
Her yoga journey began while living in Sydney, Australia from 1999 to 2004. When she returned to Ireland and settled in Greystones, she continued to practice going to classes weekly , sometimes bi-weekly with workshops at the weekends to deepen her practice — soon realising yoga was something she simply couldn’t live without. It became a lifeline, helping her manage stress, anxiety, and the general overwhelm of day-to-day life. For the first time, she felt she’d found something that genuinely supported her mental and emotional wellbeing.
In 2013, Michelle began her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training. She completed it in five week-long modules, taking time off from her full-time role in a corporate travel management company. Though she finished the course, she didn’t feel quite ready to teach — there was still more learning, inner work, and life experience ahead.
Over the years, as she faced the emotional and physical challenges of fertility struggles, yoga — became an even deeper source of support Trying to juggle fertility appointments, treatments, commuting, and full-time work took a toll. That’s when Michelle discovered a local teacher in Greystones who specialised in Restorative Yoga. During this time, Michelle trained in Level 1 Restorative Yoga (The Puja Method). She began attending regularly and continued practicing with her until the pandemic closed the studio’s doors.
Michelle also studied Thomas Hanna Somatic Movement Education. Earlier in her journey, she had practised more vigorous styles like Vinyasa — but something within her knew it was time to slow down. While trying to conceive, she listened to her body and shifted her focus to gentler, more nurturing practices.
Eventually, Michelle left her full-time job to reduce stress and fully support her fertility journey. With the help of restorative yoga, rest, and the care of a Restorative Fertility Clinic, she was blessed to conceive two healthy babies.
Since becoming a mother, Michelle has deepened her training further — completing 100 hours of Kids Yoga Teacher Training, along with specialised training in Yoga for Menopause and Beyond and Level 2 Restorative Yoga (The Puja Method).
Now, she brings all of this wisdom — lived and learned — into her teaching. She offers a space to slow down, reconnect with the present moment, and find calm in the midst of a busy world. Her approach is grounded in simplicity, gratitude, and compassion — an invitation to stop striving and start listening to what really matters.
